I had a great trip to Las Palmas, on a little short notice but a fantastic time, thanks to the invitation
by my friend Aday Rodriguez of Sand Sculptures - Spain.
I had the opportunity to work with Karen, Ted, Radek, Pavel, Alexey, Vladimir and Etual, all of which are amazing sculptors from around the World. The crew of helpers were also a great bunch, who worked hard to help us with our sculptures and create some of their own to finish up sections of the sculpture. You can check out some of the other sculptors works in sand and other mediums on my links page Sand Sculptor Links. Grand Canaria is a beautiful place, made up of volcanic islands. Unfortunately, we didn't get much of a chance to do any site seeing, due to our time constraints. We managed to enjoy the beautiful area we were in over the 2 weeks and meet some amazing people.
