Faro-Algarve, Portugal

I enjoyed my first visit to Portugal and had a good time working on Fiesa Sand Sculpture Festival. I worked with about 60 other sculptors from around the world on the project. The project for 2009 was titled "Human Discoveries" and explored inventions, and discoveries that mark human history.

A number of managed to get away at lunches and explore a couple of the close beaches and enjoy the beautiful spring weather.
