My first visit to Italy was absolutely fantastic, thanks to the invitation
by my good friend Rich Varano of Sultans of Sand.
I had the opportunity to work with some new and amazing sculptors from
around the World and spend time with some old sculptor friends I hadn't seen
in years. I also met some wonderful people in Jesolo and enjoyed the Italian
food and wine. Jesolo is truly a beautiful place and I hope to go back there
in the near future. The beach was also incredible and swimming in the Adriatic
Sea everyday was fantastic.
A few of us went to Venice and enjoyed the sites and sounds of the
city. We picked up a couple of bottles of wine, cheese, meat, bread and
olives and found a quiet canal to enjoy a good lunch.
